Your tasks:

  • Meet technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls
  • Deliver accurate actual monthly GL report control, accounting, and analysis during the audit work
  • Complete and upload the audit files according to auditor’s requirements to Clara and CC sites. /
  • Record tasks in the PBC checklist to ensure all close-related tasks are completed.
  • Identify and resolve differences across GL and external databases (AP report, payroll expenses provided by TMF, cross-charge invoices register, tax balances – NAV)
  • Prepare and record properly year-end accrual entries by reviewing the AP reports
  • Ensure STAT Adjustments are booked in the right accounts with proper amounts
  • Being accounting contact for auditors, answering their questions related to preparing FS. Provide timely and appropriate financial data and supporting documentation to auditing
  • Provide help in performing annual account reconciliation to Country Accountant according to INNIO Policies and STAT requirements
  • Review expense categories according to the Hungarian Accounting Act to ensure all expenditures are sitting in the right places, make any correction / reclasses if needed
  • Supporting in year-end tax calculation and complete tax returns

 

Your profile:

  • Ongoing studies at an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with relevant years of experience in Finance)
  • Ability to work  20-30 hours/week
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Ability to learn/ understand Standard & Processes quickly and adhere to them accurately
  • Has good fundamental organization & prioritization skills
  • Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
  • Effective interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style
  • Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
  • Numerate with a good eye for detail
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Tolerates monotony
